The Behavior Health program at Hialeah Hospital specializes in the treatment of individuals with emotional conditions including depression, bipolar disorder and anxiety. We offer a broad range of inpatient psychotherapy services for adults including:

  • Verbal and non-verbal therapies such as anger and stress management
  • Coping skills
  • Goal setting
  • Grief resolution
  • Arts and crafts therapy

Beautiful, Newly Designed Behavioral Health Unit

Hialeah Hospital recognizes that patients feel their best in a comfortable and compassionate environment. And when patients feel their best, true healing can begin. Our new beautifully designed 5,675 square-foot inpatient unit features new contemporary furniture, large windows providing natural light, comfortable rooms for group therapy, and flexible family visiting hours. Our facility admits patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and has a 12-bed capacity.

Patients receive individualized, compassionate care from a multi-disciplinary team of bilingual (Spanish and English) psychiatrists, nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, dieticians and occupational therapists.
