An Update for our community on the COVID-19 Vaccination Process

We are currently in Phase 1 of our COVID-19 vaccination plan.  This means we are vaccinating front line staff and physicians with first responders to follow.  We have started initial planning for community vaccinations, but we have not received enough vaccine supply at this time. We are working closely with our state and local leaders, and we will keep everyone informed as more vaccine doses become available and we are able to expand vaccination capability.  The most effective safety measures we can take against COVID-19 continue to be wearing a mask, washing our hands, and maintaining social distance. We remind our community not to delay care. Our hospitals are open, safe and ready to care for you.

Hialeah Hospital Honors Its Case Management Department

Sep 3, 2020

Hialeah Hospital proudly honors its case management department with a Heroes Award. The case management department has been instrumental in helping patients and families stay informed throughout their hospital stay. Working closely with physicians and community partners, case managers and social workers tirelessly sought out safe discharge plans so that patients could continue their journey to health, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I am thankful to have a case management department that works so hard to make sure our patients are receiving the best care possible,” said Michael Bell, hospital CEO. “The entire case management team deserves to be recognized, and I am proud to honor them for their efforts.”
