HIALEAH, FL  – Hialeah Hospital, a 378-bed acute care hospital, has named Anilton Afonso 2008 Employee of the Year.

Anilton has been employed at Hialeah for 31 years in a variety of positions including housekeeper, orderly assigned to patient discharges and transfers, transporter and, finally, pharmacy technician. Currently, Anilton is in charge of preparing medications in the Pharmacy's IV Room.
