New Directors For Plant Operations And Maternal Child

HIALEAH, FL -- Hialeah Hospital, a 360-bed acute care hospital in Tenet’s Miami/Dade hospital network, has hired Wade Phillips as Director of Plant Operations and Susanna Brito as Director of Maternal Child Department.

As Director of Plant Operations, Phillips will be responsible for plant operation and maintenance, establishing plant policies and procedures and cultivating a well-trained, motivated staff.

Phillips was most recently Director of Facilities Services for the Oakwood Annapolis Hospital in Wayne, Michigan.  Previously, he was Director of Facilities Services at Wilf Campus for Senior Living, Somerset, NJ. Phillips served for four years in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate Third Class.

As Director of Maternal Child Department, Brito will be responsible for the administration of the infant care center, including overall planning for nursing and operations for all programs, as well as for the overall plan for care center operations, personnel management, annual goals and objectives, and fiscal targets.

Most recently, Brito was with South Miami Hospital as Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager. She had previously been with  the Clara Maass Medical Center,  Bellevue, New Jersey, where she worked for 16 years in Labor and Delivery as a nurse and in management.

Brito received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Felician College in New Jersey, and holds a Master's of Administrative Science form Fairleigh Dickinson College, in New Jersey.
