At Hialeah Hospital, we know the birth of your baby is a special event. That's why we created The Maternal Child Center, designed with families in mind. Witb advanced labor and delivery care, contemporary facilities, specialized staff and a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, we deliver a combination of comprehensive medical expertise and comfortable surroundings. Well-Designed Facilities
From the moment mothers-to-be enter the Maternal Child Center they experience surroundings designed to promote ease and relaxation. The Center features comfortable rooms where labor, delivery and recovery take place, spacious antepartum rooms; and private post-partum rooms.
An Experienced Staff
Every staff member at the Maternal Child Center works to enhance the experience of welcoming a new baby. Obstetricians and other medical specialists, nurses, technologists and support staff members are skilled, experienced and welcoming.
Classes In English, Spanish
Trained instructors conduct childbirth preparation classes in English and Spanish. Classes teach relaxation methods and help ensure parents-to-be know what to expect at every stage of childbirth.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
For newborns with special needs, Hialeah has a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit staffed with a team of affiliated neonatologists and nurses experienced in caring for premature infants and newborns with health issues.
